Italian Pot Roast


This was the most tender roast I have made in awhile. The meat just fell apart and you didn't even need a knife. Another thing I like about this recipe is the simple ingredients.

Italian Pot Roast

1 onion, chopped
2 stalks celery, sliced
1 (3 lb) beef roast
Italian seasoning to taste
1 jar or can ( 26 oz) pasta sauce

Place vegetables in the bottom of a crockpot, place meat on top and season to taste. Pour pasta sauce over the top. Cover and cook on low 8-10 hours or until done.
