Pineapple Upside Down Cake


Pineapple Upside Down Cake

1 box yellow cake mix and ingredients to mix according to package directions
1 (20) oz can sliced pineapple
1 small jar maraschino cherries
Brown sugar as needed
1 stick butter, melted
Nonstick cooking spray

Prepare yellow cake mix according to package directions and set aside. Spray a 9 x 13 inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray. Pour butter in bottom of the pan and arrange pineapple and cherries in dish. Sprinkle fruit lightly with brown sugar. Pour cake mix over the top and bake at 350 degrees for 30-40 minutes or until cooked through.
